I write regarding the footway works being carried out here, and ask who is supervising these from a safety point of view, or more like not supervising. There are a number of issues that I have seen whilst passing by, since these works started, and a few below. A number of times there is no safety zone being observed, and in fact I've seen workers, although in full hi-viz, working with less than a 500mm safety zone, but also within the operating highway, such as today on the Junction Road island. One time they were marking the carriageway at the end of Silverdale Road with no TM and within live traffic. Also I've seen disc cutters being used to cut kerbing, without any PPE being worn. Please let them know diamond disc segments have been known to detach, and workers at the minimum suffering serious eye injuries All of what I've seen gives a very bad impression of how WSH treats Health & Safety and I am concerned that someone here is going to get injured, if safety is not improved-6 Keymer Road, Burgess Hill, RH15 0AD

Trees at foot of garden on Manor field School property overhanging properties. Constant nuisance from seeds and Catkins at various times of year from variety of Silver Birch and Poplars which fall in their hundreds which migrate throughout the house . These Trees were not the ones originally shown on consultations many years ago when ornamental trees and shrubs were promised . We now have a mini Forest at the rear of our property with towering Trees. The Caretaker at the School says this years inspection of the Trees did not take place due to Staffing problem with the inspectors . He informs us he is powerless to trim any tree without Council permission.-55 Stirling Court Road, Burgess Hill, RH15 0PS

A No Entry sign has been taken away (possibly after an accident) and a sharp piece of metal has been left sticking up from the pavement. Up until the weekend there was a traffic cone covering it - that has gone and it's now presenting a nasty trip hazard.-Station House, 2 Railway Approach, Worthing, BN11 1UR

Whilst walking my dog at approximately 07.45 on Thursday 11th August, I tripped on the pavement outside number 102 Climping Road, the pavement is uneven and lumpy. My trainer caught the lump, i fell on my right hand and my face hit the tarmac. I do not have any recollection of how I got home, my face was bleeding and I was in shock. I have abrasions to my face, a bruised tooth, a lump on my forehead and grazed knees. I have pulled my right side and my back. My daughter took me to the walk in centre at Crawley Hospital I was assessed, pain killers given, my hand was X-rayed, thankfully no broken bones but bad bruising and swelling. I am a support worker so my right hand is very much needed. I had two days off work recovering from the shock and trauma I experienced. My hand is still not good as I cannot grip. I would like compensation for the traumatic experience suffered. The pavement is terrible all around Climping Road, I am now terrified of walking around there.-104 Climping Road, Crawley, RH11 0AY

As well as the pavements from Kingston beach past the jet ski centre still not being cleaned of construction sand, stones, dirt making it dangerous to go down with the current pedestrian diversion in place. A lorry has now shed it's load of gravel in the middle of the road! No one is taking any responsibility for this and Dudman obviously didn't listen to you last time to clean the pavements!-37 Brighton Road, Shoreham by Sea, BN42 4DP

There is an abundance of vegetation on kerb side .locally there is a problem with heavy rain which causes flooding especially when drains are compromised . The whole length of kerbside has over grown vegetation -122 South Street, Tarring, BN14 7NB

The damage is on the verge on Walton close (outside 15 and 14) and is due to building work being done at a property on Salvington Gardens. They are lifting the fence for access and today a big cement lorry reversed in causing a mess to the verge. The builders are also causing damage. Today a residents car has also been damaged and branches of the tree have also been damaged -16 Walton Close, Worthing, BN13 2BJ

The double yellow lines have not been re-instated since the road has had a repair and new tarmac has covered old lines. I have reported before to WSCC Highways & Transport reference number 3194506 on 12 June. Nothing has happened. The problem is cars are now parking where yellow lines should be opposite church wall which is an extremely narrow part of the road, making it almost impossible for larger vehicles to get through. Certainly impossible for ambulances/fire & rescue. The photo shows the double yellow lines have not been closed off.-5 Chanctonbury Walk, Storrington, RH20 4LT
