Near A24, Southwater, RH13 6QR
West Sussex - Southwater South & Shipley Ward
On the A24 heading North on the inside lane near to the central dashed line, shortly after the roundabout, there is a large pot hole that was both deep and wide enough for my front drivers wheel to go in and instantly puncture my tyre. The marker on the map above is only an approximation as to where exactly the pot hole position was. I am not from the area so I cant be exactly sure and also given that I then had a puncture I was unable to go back and get a more accurate position and size description of the pot hole.

Fortunately my car has run flat tyres so i was just able to make it to Horsham, to the local Kwik Fit and replace the tyre. For this I would like to make a claim for the cost of the replacement tyre. This pot hole is a danger to all users of this stretch of road if this pot hole is able to instantly burst a tyre. I was lucky to have run flat tyres but the next person may not be so lucky and this could very easily result in a serious accident, especially on a fast A road like this is.

Please can you pass on the details of how I should make a claim for this.
