Description

The damage is on the verge on Walton close (outside 15 and 14) and is due to building work being done at a property on Salvington Gardens. They are lifting the fence for access and today a big cement lorry reversed in causing a mess to the verge. The builders are also causing damage. Today a residents car has also been damaged and branches of the tree have also been damaged

Unfortunately damage to vehicles would need to be investigated and sorted out through insurance companies. The material that was placed in the layby has now been removed and placed into a skip. We will liaise with the residents about obtaining a skip licence for the skip currently placed in the layby. Regards, Highways Team
