This issue has been regularly reported since February (Please see my Report Log). Potholes repeated created by continuing flood, filled and quickly breaks down. The drain is still blocked. NO action has been taken. Cars keep hitting the potholes, making them bigger, damaging tyres. WHEN will drain be fully unlocked, gully cleared? Please please act today! Description

This issue has been regularly reported since February (Please see my Report Log). Potholes repeated created by continuing flood, filled and quickly breaks down. The drain is still blocked. NO action has been taken. Cars keep hitting the potholes, making them bigger, damaging tyres. Closed Enquiry closed : Dear Customer. In response to your enquiry logged on Wednesday 19/01/22: Firstly, the pothole repairs in the interim are meant to make the carriageway fundamentally safe, in spite of any underlying or ongoing issues. This is in accordance with our procedures as per the Highways Inspection Manual. Such repairs were raised as recently as Thursday 06/01/22. Secondly, works have already been raised as of Tuesday 30/11/21 to excavate & repair the defective draoinage system with regard to the ongoing / underlying issue(s). The target completion date is prior Wednesday 30/03/22. May I assure you that we have the matter very much in hand. We are confident this will alleviate the surcharging gully in question, also. Kind regards, Central Team.

Turning right out of Chalkers Lane onto Cuckfield road is extremely dangerous. When driving you have no visibility past the hedge on the corner until you have inched out into the path of oncoming traffic. This is an accident waiting to happen.-180 Cuckfield Road, Hurstpierpoint, BN6 9SD

3 blocked drains in a row, all on the southbound carriage way of High Beech Lane, just to the south of Town Wood Close. Opposite the golf club entrance (the postcode I've used is theirs). They were blocked yesterday, so today the run off rainwater just keeps on going.-High Beech Lane RH16 1SL

Drains just above Woodend on Lower Street Fittleworth have been totally blocked for months now and having to jump across a stream of water to enter or exit properties on foot is problematic in rainy weather. Wooded strip located between the highway and The Holt. While undertaking tree condition assessments for Horsham District Council 2 trees affected by ash die back were identified. The larger appeared in particularly poor condition. In the event of full or partial failure this tree has the potential to strike both the highway and residential property. Please advise if WSCC has used weedkiller in this tree pit (or someone/something else)? Also, please may I have a conversation with Darren the tree officer about volunteer care (e.g. watering, feeding, mulch) as this tree seems to be growing more slowly than similar trees elsewhere and locals would like to help it thrive. The other side of our garden fence is Romany Road. There are lots of trees that I have been told are owned by Worthing Borough Council. They are really tall/ big trees and they are massively overgrown. They are encroaching into our garden (front and back) not only causing us to lose sunlight but also causing us to lose TV signal as some of the branches are touching our Sky dish. We pay a lot of money for Sky each month so this is a huge issue for us now. We would like the trees to be trimmed / pruned ASAP please on our side.-32 Bridgnorth Close, Worthing, BN13 3QW

The road floods every time it rains with the water coming up onto the pavement in places. This happens between Heene Road & Seaview Rd on both North & South side of the road .This has happened continuously for the three years we have lived here-West Parade BN113QP
