Closed Enquiry Closed : Thank you for your enquiry. An inspection has been undertaken and the gully covers cleared. This has further been reported to HDC for road sweeping to remove all debris from the surrounding area. Please note, WSCC cannot guarantee that the highway drainage system will be 100% effective at all times. We have a routine cyclical maintenance programme for gulley emptying, which varies from a monthly cleanse to a four year cycle. During and after excessive downpours, some systems capacity levels are breached, so may take some time for water to clear.
