Every day there are cars parked on the bend outside the care home (even though there is off street/side street parking available very nearby.)
The bend is blind, cars shoot along going north after waiting at the crossing in N Ferring and when the sun is low in the sky it is a complete blind spot. There will be an (awful?) accident there one day because when you pull out to avoid all the parked cars you are in direct line of oncoming traffic with nowhere to go. It really is frightening. Please check it out??
Thank you

There is a steel plate over the drain opposite a gate to the field and just before Brook House. The drain is completely blocked for about ten metres. Whenever it rains hard the road to Didling becomes completely obstructed.-X55F+R6 Midhurst, UK

Morning, the alleyway which runs from Trinity Close to Leighlands had 2 bollards at the Trinity Close end. Someone has knocked one of these down and today a member of your team at WSCC came to raise a request for a new bollard to be installed. I spoke with him and he advised that I raise a report, as the position of the bollards does nothing to stop motorbikes and mopeds using the footpath as a short cut. Basically the drivers, drive onto our driveway and around the bollards and then drive down the footpath. Is there any way that the 2 bollards can be repositioned further back, so that our driveway would then not be used to access the footpath and would hopefully deter the drivers of motorbikes and mopeds to stop using it as a cut through. It is very dangerous and an accident waiting to happen. Please can you look into repositioning these bollards so that they actually do what they are meant to do, otherwise they may as well be removed completely as the position they are currently is pointless. -29 Trinity Close

This report is for the length of Manor Road between Janes Lane and Northway. I regularly drive along Manor Road by Manor Field school and the parking by parents at drop off/pick up time is getting worse. Today a lady had stopped on the double yellow lines on the bend to let her children out of the car causing gridlock along the road. The cars park on the double yellow lines by the houses/school entrance and also by the field which I assume are there to keep the children safe and the traffic moving, however this never seems to be enforced. It is difficult to see the drop down kerb where people cross opposite the school so it is only a matter of time before an accident involving a car or child occurs. Also, these past few weeks where the sun is quite low in the sky has meant that when you drive along Manor Road it is very difficult to see cars, let alone people who may be walking on the road due to numbers of people walking on the pavement.-2 Manor Road, Burgess Hill, RH15 0NW

Blocked drain since 2020 outside The Oaks, East Street, Rusper. I reported this over a year ago but it has not been sorted. Caused issues with icy roads in winter when the water flowing down the road starts to freeze. This drain is always blocked. The road does not flood simply because water flows like a river down the road!

I have tried attaching resized images of the blocked drain but keep getting a message that the file is too large despite it being 2mb.. -Oaks Cottage East Street, Rusper, RH12 4RD
