There are 2 large Oak trees on left side of Bullfinch Close. One which has grown and branches are hanging very low and small branches falling off, it is restricting daylight to the properties and the street light is now mostly covered by these overgrown branches. Parking the lay-by can be difficult as foliage is also overgrown
The branches are reaching the far side of the road near driveways and are roughly 3-4  metres from the ground. My concern is that if there are windy conditions, branches breaking off this tree could cause serious damage or injury, as there are children who play in the close.-13 Bullfinch Close, Horsham, RH12 5HF

Resident reported to MSDC Cllr who reported it to us. Details given are: I am getting increasingly concerned about the safety of my step daughters and other children when passing this overgrown boarder on 57 Maple Drive East Grinstead. I have witnessed other children hidding behind these shrubs ready to pounce and frighten others. Is there anything that can be done about it as the owners/occupiers don’t appear to be insterested or take responsibility.

As this is a it is a private hedge encroaching onto the public highway it is for WSCC to approach the landowner and require them to cut the overhanging vegetation back. We will pass this onto the highways team at WSCC and ask them to follow it up. Photos attached for reference.

Details given are: I am getting increasingly concerned about the safety of my step daughters and other children when passing this overgrown boarder on 57 Maple Drive East Grinstead. My neighbour is continuing to park her car on the pavement outside my house (been happeneing for about 4 years now, enough is enough after her other vehicle crashed into mine, causing over £7000 worth of damage), so I’ve got a horsebox (her other vehicle) one side, in her parking space, and her car the other, on the pavement, pinning me in the middle, leaving little to no room to manoeuvre.
You cant walk on the pavement as shes parked there blocking access.
When i try to reverse out, its impossible to see any vehicles coming from either side.

Its a Ford Kuga on the pavement, just by the driveway where 3 old volkswagen vehicles are parked.

I have attached a photo of the area in question, and highlighted my house, which is 111, and the area the car is being parked in, which i have been told is WSCC owned.-113 Capsey Road, Ifield, RH11 0UF

MSDC received a call to report overgrown vegegation on the path at Newton Avenue. Lady reporting lives at number 20 out the back is a wooded area. She said there should be a pathway between 18 - 23 but it is overgrown. It is completely blocked with nettles and brambles etc. Has to have her mobility scooter in the back garden to use as the pathway is impassable.-20 Newton Avenue, East Grinstead, RH19 4SW

Further to my report : 3195415 raised last week.
The issue remains along the footpath of the main A29, where it runs to the rear of Briar Cottage. As the footpath goes up an incline there are significant cracks across the pavement.
Although Briar Cottage is in Old London Road, at the Labouring Man end of the lane, see image attached. The issue is on the footpath adjacent to the main A29 (London Road) as it travels north towards Pulborough.-Briar Cottage Old London Road, Coldwaltham, RH20 1LF

There are weeds which are very overgrown on the pathway directly outside our back door which leads out to the area for parking and garages. My 82 year old mum is finding it very difficult to walk on the path and step on and off the kerb safely. She uses a walking stick due to having osteoarthritis in her feet and is very unsteady and has had previous falls. I am very concerned for her safety. Low branches are obstructing view when pulling out of drive way of 103 and 101, particularly when there are also cars parked along the street. One tree is also now overhanging property of 103 which makes the path very dark at night (street lighting is on opposite side) and restricts light into property.
