a vehicle removal company WH motors are constantly parking their lorries on the double yellow lines & in the bend , this is extremely dangerous as you are tuning into the corner blind with no idea if anything is coming the opposite way if there is you then have to reverse into the road risking your safety & others. previous yellow lines were removed a few years back for an unknown reason further along which now totally blocks the view coming out of kelvin house. -Unit 2 Faraday Road, Crawley, RH10 9PX

We have no parking enforcement powers to remove or ticket vehicles, these powers fall to either the borough council with their parking enforcement officers or with the police if a vehicle is causing an obstruction. As this vehicle is causing an obstruction we would advise you to call non-emergency 101 and inform the police of the details of the vehicle. Apologies that we could not be of more assistance. Kind regards WSCC Highways

Subject: Road Repairs carried out on New Road, Southbourne

Dear Sir/Madam,
I write to inform you (see attached photograph) of the failed, “so called repair” to pothole, completed during the period between the 12/18 February 2020.
This area has been in need, of repair for many months and I was delighted to see it was marked out for repair.
As can be seen from the photographs, it would appear that my delight was short lived and consider that the rates I pay are being wasted by personnel who administer and organise those repairs to be carried out by companies selected by the Council??!
The repair carried out was insufficient as it does not cover the overall area of damage, which with the current weather and ingress of water with potential frost would render this a complete waste of time and money.
Not withstanding this piece of “so called repair” next to it was another, pothole some 3 to 5 meters away (6 New Road) which was in a similar state and in need of repair??!
Why was this not repaired??!
As you probably realise this road is extremely busy with traffic from parents using their vehicles for dropping the children off to school.
I look forward to your response, informing me, when those repairs will be carried out and completed satisfactorily.
Yours a most disgruntled Rate Payer

when leaving fleming way on manor royal to turn right or left at the roundabout especially at peak times people block the roundabout so it’s impossible for anyone turning right to be able to move anywhere which in turn backs up the traffic behind. currently there is a keep clear sign on the road on one side but it needs to be extended & on both sides of the road ( both carriageways) this would allow people turning right to be able to & in turn relieve the pressure on flemming way. -Eastman House Fleming Way, Crawley, RH10 9JY

This is a very lasrge hole which posses a severe danger to cyclists and motor vehicles. The pothole has been fixed no less than three times since Xmas!
Clearly the materials used/the workmanship is not man enough to cope with the weather conditions.
Please ensure that this time, the fix is a permanent one. I dread to think of the wasted man hours and material costs involved with just this one pothole. -Summerley Point Summerley Lane, Bognor Regis, PO22 7HY

There are a series of large, medium and small potholes plus uneven surfaces on the road coming from The Rising Sun in Milland towards the crossroads where Rogate Downhill Bike Park is situated.. The postcode for the bike park is GU31 5DL so its the road leading towards there from Milland (Rising Sun). Its mainly on the side going towards the bike park so if you drive from the Rising Sun to the bike park you will soon come across them on the straight section leading towards the crossroads. It's so bad that you have to drive in the middle of the road to avoid them. This morning I drove into one that was disguised by standing water in the road and I'm afraid I have damaged my car. it will be inspected on Friday. Do you cover this area? I'm afraid it's too dangerous to stop and take photos.-rogate

The Entrance and Exit 'slips' into and out of Dewpond Close (new build site on A27 near Lancing roundabout) are DANGEROUS. Our cars lock up under braking into the site because of a very loose and uneven surface riddled with deep potholes. Even more so on exit as wheel spin occurs when trying to join the main carriageway which is detrimental to the car's acceleration, potentially breaking the cars driveshafts or have an RTA attempting to join the A27. Please advise on what we should do. image 1-Lancing House Old Shoreham Road, Lancing, BN15 0QS
