28/04/2017 There is a drain on the south side of the road. There is a biggish pothole on road side of the drain, ( not the pavement side) it is approx 80mm deep, 80 mm wide and iruns along the entire edge of the drain approx 300mm. It is away from the edge of the road and quite long and is in the same direction as the traffic so could be dangerous to a cycle or motorbike. It is very near the entrance to a group of houses called hempshells and not far from a letterbox rather than rising sun cottage as shown on the map.

28/04/2017 Shermanbury Parish Council have been contacted by local residents who are unhappy about the sight lines at the junction of the B2116 with the A281. I have attached photographs to show the view is obscured not just by the greenery but also by poles and a disused bus stop which should definitely be removed.

I can now only park at the very front edge of the bay now. Please could you inspect it and try to find a solution?

28/04/2017 Enquiry closed : 28.4.17 Thank you for your report. My team are putting together a list of areas such as this to clear. We no longer have the Highway Rangers to carry out this type of work. As it is not a safety issue at present, it will not be such a high priority. I did also request a street clean for the leaves. Kind regards WSCC

28/04/2017 This morning I had yet another puncture along the A259 between Fishbourne and Emsworth. This has again made me late for work and is this problem is occurring on a MONTHLY basis. Today it was a 4cm nail and this is a reoccurring problem along this road. As this road is a major commuter route between Emsworth and Chichester, the council MUST have a road cleaner drive this route to clear the cycle lane at least once every week.
